Cold storage systems using ammonia as a refrigerant should be built in areas with low population density in the surrounding area.
2. A main switch for cutting off the power supply of the refrigeration compressor should be installed at a convenient location outside the entrance of the refrigeration room. This switch should be able to stop the operation of all refrigeration compressors and should be marked accordingly. If the machine control screen is located in the main control room, a button switch should be added next to each refrigeration compressor.
3. The machine room of the ammonia refrigeration system should be equipped with an emergency exhaust device; The accident exhaust fan should use an explosion-proof motor. When the power supply of the refrigeration system is cut off due to an accident, the reliable power supply of the accident exhaust fan should be ensured. The overload protection of the accident exhaust fan should be applied to the signal alarm system without directly stopping the exhaust fan. The control button box of the accident exhaust fan should be concealed in the wall outside the door of the ammonia compressor room.
4. Equipment such as condensers and oil separators located outdoors should be fenced off to prohibit non operators from entering and marked. When the high-pressure storage tank is located outdoors, there should be a sunshade.
5. The cold storage must be equipped with a transformer and distribution room, and should be located as close as possible to the compressor room.
6. The ammonia compressor room and high and low voltage distribution room must be equipped with emergency lighting, and the duration of the lighting should not be less than 30 minutes. Explosion proof lighting fixtures should be selected for the computer room, with an illumination of 50-70Lx.
7. An automatic ammonia concentration measuring device should be installed in the ammonia compressor room, which should be able to issue an alarm signal when the ammonia concentration approaches 10% of the lower explosive limit.
8. The ammonia compressor room should have a control room located on one side of the room. The starting control equipment for power equipment that generates sparks during start-up and normal operation, as well as temperature telemetry and recording instruments in the warehouse, should be arranged in the control room.
9. Each refrigeration compressor, pump, cooling tower and other equipment motor should be equipped with an ammeter; When multiple motors are installed on the same air cooler, evaporative condenser, etc., they can share one ammeter, one set of control and short-circuit protection devices, but each motor should be separately equipped with overload protection.
10. The computer room door should open outward. The number of doors should ensure that personnel can leave quickly in emergency situations.
11. Each refrigeration compressor should be equipped with an emergency stop button on the unit control panel.
12. An ammonia dilution spray device should be installed at the top in areas prone to ammonia leakage and where ammonia liquid is concentrated.
13. A safe passage for maintenance and operation should be set up in the computer room.
14. The illuminance of lighting in cooling rooms, freezing rooms, refrigeration rooms, ice storage rooms, and corridors should not be lower than 20Lx; The illuminance of lighting in processing rooms, packaging rooms, and other areas should not be lower than 50Lx.
15. The layout of lighting fixtures in the cold storage room should avoid suspended ceiling air coolers and overhead pipes. Lights should be placed in the operating passages of the warehouse and evenly distributed in the storage area.
16. The lighting switches in the warehouse should be moisture-proof switches or airtight switches. The lighting switches in each warehouse should be installed centrally outside the door of that warehouse and should be arranged away from the door.
When the installation height of lighting fixtures in the warehouse is equal to or less than 2.2m, AC24V safe voltage supply should be used. The metal casing of the lamp should be connected to a protective wire (PE wire).
18. Power and lighting circuits in cold storage rooms below 0 ℃ should use copper core low temperature resistant rubber insulated cables and should be laid openly.
